Too Far Gone
NP: MSNBC Election Coverage
Okay, I literally just made a bowl of popcorn and turned on election coverage. I'm a little wrapped up in all this.
The first results are in, and they are...entirely inconclusive. Keith is going to have more fun with this than Chris Matthews. And David Shuster just totally crashed and burned on live TV.
Anyway, I don't really feel guilty about this, necessarily. I can remember a time when it seemed like history had overlooked my generation, that there was nothing that defined the era in which I lived. Clearly, that's all changed, and this perceived magnitude of what's going on today across the country is a reminder of that, and one that doesn't involve gunfire. Barring any other non-Britney breaking news, of course.
