Two Americas and Several Media

Via Daily Kos comes a bit that's nominally John Edwards talking about blogs and their impact on political discourse, but the part that caught my eye was the former Vice Presidential nominee saying "It helps democratize the media. It's a way for more voices to be heard. Even the mainstream media now recognize this."
With all the talk about how stupid our president may or may not be, it's refreshing to see someone use the plural form media properly.
