NP: Led Zeppelin, Box Set

If you're a regular reader of the website proper, rather than the LiveJournal or RSS feeds, you may have noticed the most recent comments sidebar on the front page is still slightly problematic. The good news is that I've isolated the identifying characteristic of the latest comment spam barrage. I'm not quite sure how it works from the spammers perspective, but there's something in the "rel" tag of the included links that's totally consistent in all of the insipid "I really like your site" comments. The bad news is that the plugin I'm using to aggregated comments across the entire site can't yet deal with the notion of a "junked" comment, so the link still shows up.

And yes, I'll get back to True Believer shortly. "Fixing" the rest of the website, in terms of changing over completely to the new style, might also happen before I get back to the normal workday routine next week, but as with most site-related things, don't hold your breath. Increased attention to the nuts and bolts over here is currently not on the list of New Year's resolutions, which I may or may not expound upon later.
