Filling In The Blanks
NP: Countdown with Keith Olbermann
I've noticed lately that I have this tendency to misread text in fun, entirely subconscious ways. I noticed this evening that the big headline across the front of today's Sun-Times was not, in fact, "President Bush Moves to Refuse Debate," which was how I read it on my way to the train today. Apparently, the President's address last night was meant to defuse debate.
Suffice it to say, I like my version better.
