Because You Care About My Phone Problems

NP: Sevendust, Seasons

After a little bit of digging, it seems that Cingular hasn't given up on the MPx220 outright. As near as I can figure, they're temporarily holding back on the phone while they wait for Motorola to release a new version of the phone's firmware. That would explain why it's still in retail outlets and not on the website anymore. Motorola also has a signup page on their site that will allow them to contact users when the rev is available.

That doesn't make my phone suck any less, but at least there's a potential light at the end of the tunnel. I just hope it addresses stuff like signal strength, and not how well the phone integrates with Windows Media Player. Because this is a phone, first and foremost.
