NP: Gomez, Split the Difference
Despite taking those snappy pictures in the last couple of entries, word on the street is that Cingular has already pulled the plug on the Motorola MPx220.
Fuckin' A. I sure can pick 'em. To be fair, it was one of the first phones of it's type, so I shouldn't be that surprised that (a) it's not that great as an actual phone, or (b) Motorola has apparently already realized that and come up with the rumored MPx230. Which I'm assuming addresses some of those nasty deficiencies like dropping calls and networks, and I'm sure Cingular will be offering as a free exchange for the poor saps who bought the old model in the four months it was available.
