NP: Granian, On My Own Two Feet
I listened to part of the NCAA final on the radio last night, and got to hear Illinois Governor Rod Blagojevic complaining about the referees at halftime.
That just seemed odd. Aren't politicians supposed to be more diplomatic about things like that? "We're getting jobbed" is what you're supposed to say about your government, not what you're supposed to hear from them.
I'm not saying he's wrong (and neither is this guy), just that it seemed a little out of place. Then again, it was an Illini broadcast, so maybe he was politicking after all.
