NP: David Bowie, Aladdin Sane

I'm trying something new today. Tea instead of coffee. Among other things, I don't put sugar in my tea, so that should be relatively good for me. I have to say, the experiment is not going well so far, although I was still able to resist getting a candy bar just now.

Overall, the move to get in shape is going alright on two of three fronts. I'm feeling pretty good at the gym, even if I don't really have the regular routine that I might like just yet, and will be ramping up my indoor soccer schedule on top of that pretty soon. At the risk of sounding like a recovering alcoholic, it's now been almost a full month since I last had a drink. I don't think I've actually lost any weight -- the healthy eating part of the equation is that third front that's not going so well -- but I'm hoping maybe it's at least been redistributed a bit.

Totally swamped lately, which ill affords me the opportunity to produce any witty opinions on current events. Sorry.
