Bounce

NP: Radiohead radio station (Rhapsody)

I don't see any clear indication as to why certain media stocks in which I have a small investment are suddenly KILLING, but I'm sure as hell not complaining. Some of it could be the reportedly imminent settlement between Time Warner and the Justice Department, and Vivendi's Canal Plus just acquired some French soccer rights, but neither of those ring true as the cause of what's been a rally of at least a couple of weeks.

Since buying the equivalent of one month's living expenses worth of a couple of media stocks, one of them has more than doubled in value, and the other is up a good 50% or so. My one non-media stock is still lagging behind a bit, but it's up, too.

It could just be me riding a bubble here, but I like to think I was right on these picks. I was right on Netscape circa 1998, but never did anything about it, so I'm trying to make up for lost time.
