Giving Thanks
NP: The Rolling Stones, Forty Licks
I have a lot to be thankful for this year, but for the moment, I'm going to go with having a grocery store right around the corner. The planned peace and quiet of the day was disrupted early when I realized I was woefully underprepared -- and not by my own doing, unfortunately -- to cook up a nice, leisurely breakfast.
This was compounded by the realization that my TiVo couldn't see my MP3 folder. Tweaking my firewall settings and making the inevitable Jewel run a little earlier than I had planned have rectified the situation, and now the lounging can begin in earnest.
