It's Not Just Me

NP: Steve Earle, The Revolution Starts Now

Of course, it's never just me. Remember what I was saying last week about looking at voting behavior as a function from a certain threshold of population density? Or, in simpler terms, voting as a function of distance from big cities?

Jeff Jarvis and David Brooks both visit the issue this week, and they seem to be on the same track. Jarvis quotes Brooks and length, so you probably don't need to read both.

This resonates for me, in particular, because while I pride myself on being able to understand, to some degree, where the other side of any debate is coming from, one area it breaks down is living way the hell away from everything I find interesting and fascinating.
