The statements, made in an interview Thursday with the Des Moines Register and published today, drew a harsh denial from the Bush campaign, which accused Kerry of "fear mongering."
Just let that one sink in. The Bush campaign, they of "if Kerry gets elected, the terrorists win," are getting their panties in a bunch over fear-mongering? Does Karl Rove think maybe Jon Stewart's writers work too hard? He's certainly making it easier for them.
