NP: Living Colour, Collideoscope
Electablog points out William Safire's contention that Dubya's ability to pronounce the name of Polish president Aleksander Kwasniewski indicated some sort of, well, I don't know exactly. Strength? Commitment to Poland? Or to phonics? And if getting Kwasny (that's what we call him in the 'hood) right demonstrates how much we care about Poland, what does that say about Italy? Because he totally mangled that one.
Voting against Bush in mock indignance of his inability to pronounce the massively corrupt leader of the country of my forefathers is as good a reason as voting for someone because they seem like "just a regular guy" on television.
Of course, if Bush wins the debate because he got one out of two names right, I'm so in as the Storm's P.A. announcer. I got Sandre Naumoski's name right on Saturday, even if I struggled with Guastaferro.
