Whoa. I think Bush just went and blew the election. Isn't it a cardinal rule that you don't fuck with senior citizens in an election year? You would have figured that the big Medicare overhaul would have taught the GOP a lesson, but I think they still think that's been well-received by anyone other than the pharmaceutical companies.
Because, you know, those TV reports said so.
This may be a good test as to whether or not the Joe Lockhart-era Kerry/Edwards campaign fumbles as much as it did before the former Clinton staffer came on board. They should milk this for all it's worth.
No surprise at all that this news came out on a Friday with everybody in Florida thinking about a hurricane. Where do a disproportionate number of seniors live, again?
