Knock A Little Harder

NP: Portsmouth v. Fulham (TV)

It seems I've been talking about cycling a lot lately, and part of that includes the ritual of knocking on wood and commenting on how, despite ten years of urban biking with a fairly spotty record of wearing a helmet, I've not gotten up close and personal with any pedestrians, other bicycles or large motor vehicles.

Knocking on wood is supposed to stop these things from happening after you say them, isn't it?

Anyway, really close call with a driver opening his door on the commute home tonight, but apparently I still have the reflexes of a cat. If cats rode bicycles.

Haven't been around here much lately, which as usual, means much more time spent living and not so much editorializing.
