NP: Wayne Shorter, The Soothsayer (CD)

I don't know how, when or why this happened, but regular Coke is now too sweet, and Diet Coke too stomach-wrenchingly artificial. Don't know if that means C2 is "just right," but I feel like that's not for me because the huge product launch for the "lower carb" version didn't seem to find me as a target demo. And don't even talk to me about Pepsi.

I guess I'll just stick with my RC, Diet Dr Pepper and orange soda. And coffee. Lots and lots of coffee. Yes, I had a gig last night, why do you ask? At least I got talked down from the ledge of trying to play a soccer game before sound check, even though the timing wound up working out if I had wanted to. Sometimes I need to just slow down a little.

As for the upgrade update, things seem to be working okay. The boot is still slow as hell, but Windows Explorer hasn't been hanging (lately) and the network connection hasn't been arbitrarily disappearing (lately).
