A Show of Priorities

NP: Maroon 5, Songs About Jane (CD)

Remember those tax cuts we poor schlubs who aren't multi-millionaires could barely feel in the first place? The White House isn't willing to extend them if it might hurt the GOP in November (NYT), despite congressman for the party trying to push the legislation through. That would be re-election 1, taxpayers 0. At least if you start keeping score today. If not, we're losing worse, and they don't even have Ditka on their side, officially.

Or Dillard. Or that woman who nobody wants to work for. But they might still get Oberweis, who the Sun-Times reports, owns a dairy and investment firm. I'm still trying to wrap my head around whether that's a dairy firm and an investment firm, or one firm that covers both. If the latter, management meetings must be hilarious.
